Because of the legal, ethical, environmental, and artistic issues around use of AI technologies, I do not work with AI-generated stories. I define AI-generated stories as work created by an AI program from prompts, even when using HITL (human-in-the-loop) models. If you are using AI tools to research, spell check, generate prompts, provide visual aids, etc., that is an AI-assisted story. I will work on an AI-assisted story, though I do not use AI myself.

I do not use ChatGPT or any other AI tool to write, edit, generate reports, or analyze client manuscripts. I will not intentionally add any portion of your work to AI. However, due to the terms of service for Google and Microsoft, I cannot guarantee that their systems aren’t scraping files for AI training.
